Connecticut's largest vineyard is also among its most beautiful, with a gourmet restaurant only a few yards from the vines and herb garden.

Hybrid 120x90

Sharpe Hill Vineyard is Connecticut's largest winery, and certainly among its most beautiful.

Located in the beautiful hill country of northeastern Connecticut, its sunny hillside vineyards framed by elaborate split-rail fences, its herb and flower gardens and colonial farmhouse, its red winery barn with tasting room and gourmet Fireside Tavern restaurant, combine to make this among the most satisfying Connecticut vineyards to visit.

Sharpe Hill makes eight different wines from the vines on its 100-acre estate, all of which are served in the restaurant (reservations required).

Stop in for a tasting on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
